Who We Are

About Heal India Foundation

A people-powered nonprofit working at the grassroots to heal, educate, and empower communities across India since 2012.

Our Story

Born from a Simple Belief

Heal India Foundation was born in 2012 when a group of five friends — doctors, teachers, and social workers — took a road trip through rural Rajasthan and witnessed firsthand the stark gap between India's progress and the reality of its villages.

They saw children who had never seen a classroom. Mothers who had never visited a doctor. Farmers who had no access to clean water. That trip changed everything. Within months, they had registered a nonprofit and launched their first free medical camp.

Over 12 years, that small group of five has grown into a movement of 2,800+ volunteers, 6 active programs, and impact across 320+ villages in 10 states. The belief that started it all remains unchanged: every Indian deserves dignity, health, and opportunity.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life of underserved communities across India by delivering accessible healthcare, quality education, sustainable livelihoods, and social empowerment — with compassion, integrity, and respect for every individual's dignity.

Our Vision

An India where every citizen — regardless of where they are born, their caste, gender, or economic background — has equal access to health, education, and opportunity, and where communities are empowered to drive their own sustainable development.

What Guides Us

Our Core Values

These six principles shape every program we run, every partnership we form, and every decision we make.

Compassion

We lead with empathy — every decision is guided by the dignity and well-being of the communities we serve.

Integrity

We operate with full transparency, accountability, and honesty in all our actions and communications.

Innovation

We seek creative, sustainable solutions that address root causes rather than just symptoms of inequality.

Inclusion

We believe every person — regardless of caste, gender, or geography — deserves equal access to opportunity.

Community-First

We work alongside communities, not for them — co-creating solutions rooted in local knowledge and culture.

Sustainability

We build programs that outlast our presence, empowering communities to carry the torch forward.
